Frances Collins Memorial

Deane Collins established the endowment fund in honor of his late wife’s contributions as the first registered dental hygienist in Springfield, Missouri.

The late Mrs. Collins and her husband moved to Springfield in 1970. The couple had been in the dental field for nearly a decade before arriving in southwest Missouri – Mrs. Collins as a dental hygienist and Mr. Collins as a dental technician. They worked for approximately 40 years before retiring.
