Christian County Master Gardeners

Christian County Master Gardeners

Christian County Master Gardeners (CCMG) is an organization dedicated to education. Not only do they strive to educate themselves and the public about safe, sustainable and effective garden practices, but they are committed to the continued education of the next generation of gardeners. When OTC moved the Turf and Landscape Management, Plant Science, and General Agriculture courses to the OTC Richwood Valley Campus in Christian County in 2019, the CCMG identified an opportunity to advance their mission.

With the establishment of the Christian County Master Gardeners Scholarship, CCMG aims to support local students pursuing these programs by providing financial assistance to deserving students. When students achieve their goals and graduate with a promising degree, our local community is rewarded. CCMG recognizes that such an investment lifts up students, their families, the organization, and our local workforce. CCMG is dedicated to helping others learn to grow. They provide free public seminars and educational programs, as well as Advanced Training to Master Gardeners, and other continuing education opportunities. By providing financial scholarships to students in need, CCMG now offers yet another way to help others learn to grow.
