CoxHealth

CoxHealth is a locally-owned non-profit health system that has partnered with OTC to support students, programs, and local economies in the Ozarks region.

In 2016, CoxHealth made a gift to the OTC Foundation that established an Associate of Science in Nursing program at the Table Rock Campus. This new program creates an economic opportunity for residents of Stone and Taney County, where there is both a shortage of nurses in the local workforce and a rate of poverty higher than the national average. Additionally, CoxHealth has maintained a scholarship program for students through the OTC Foundation. The program, established in 2010, assists CoxHealth employees’ spouses and dependents interested in the allied health field by providing an opportunity to attend OTC. Beyond the classroom, CoxHealth offers OTC Allied Health students access to their facilities as clinical sites for hands-on instruction. They also work to ensure that OTC students successfully find career and academic opportunities by working closely with OTC faculty to maximize placement of graduating students in the workforce or continued education in the healthcare field.
