Judy & Mike Breeding

Judy and Mike Breeding have made a lasting impact on Ozarks Tech through their leadership, generosity, and shared commitment to expanding opportunity for others. A native of Houston, Missouri, Judy built a distinguished career in accounting, working more than 30 years in the profession. She began at BKD as the firm’s first female certified public accountant (CPA) and later became its first female partner, breaking barriers and setting a powerful example for women in a traditionally male-dominated field. Throughout her career, Mike has been a steady partner in both life and philanthropy, supporting their shared vision of giving back to the community.

In 2001, Judy joined the Ozarks Tech Foundation Board of Directors, where she has become the longest tenured member. Mike has supported her service and the mission of the Foundation, and together they have played a meaningful role in strengthening financial support for the college. Judy served as co-chair of the Foundation’s first capital campaign in 2008, helping advance access to affordable, workforce-focused education for students across southwest Missouri.

Their contributions have been recognized at the state level, including Judy receiving the Missouri Community College Association’s Award of Distinction for her impact on advancing education and opportunity. Together, Judy and Mike have also made transformational investments in campus development, including support of the Judy and Mike Breeding Clock Tower, a landmark addition to the Ozarks Tech campus.
