Robert and Frances Keever Trust

Robert and Frances Keever wished to use their resources to provide assistance to students in need, and to boost our local economy. With the establishment of the Robert and Frances Keever Trust Scholarship, they accomplish both, while leaving a legacy in support of student development. They were specifically interested in helping technical education students at OTC because of the college’s commitment to lifting up underserved populations, and the school’s record of strong contributions to the vitality of the local workforce.

The Keever’s understood that many students struggle through school because they have families at home, must work full-time, have transportation issues, or face a host of other barriers. And providing financial assistance to these students in particular often results in changing lives. It can indeed mean the difference between success and failure.

Additionally, the Robert and Frances Keever Trust Scholarship recipients are those who seek employment upon completion of their degree from OTC, rather than a transfer to a university. It is intended to aid those students who are prepared to contribute to the local economy upon graduation.
