TransLand

Founded in 1982 by Glendon and Anna Walker, TransLand has grown from a small operation with one truck and three employees into a nationally recognized transportation company headquartered in southwest Missouri. Based in Strafford along historic Route 66, TransLand serves customers across all 48 states while remaining grounded in the values of integrity, hard work, and community.

Glendon Walker built the company on a simple philosophy: treat people the way you want to be treated. That commitment to fairness, respect, and service helped shape TransLand’s culture and reputation throughout the trucking industry. Over the years, the company has been recognized multiple times as one of the Best Fleets to Drive For®, reflecting its dedication to employees, safety, and workplace excellence.

Today, TransLand continues to invest in workforce development, employee engagement, and community partnerships throughout the region while carrying forward the values established by Glendon and Anna Walker more than four decades ago.
