Sgt. Joseph M. Peters Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant must be an enrolled Ozarks Tech student.
• Applicant must maintain a minimum Ozarks Tech cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Applicant must be currently serving in the U.S. military, a veteran, or a dependent/spouse of a currently serving member or veteran.
• Priority will be given to Purple Heart recipients.
• Priority will also be given to veterans with a record of community service.

Renewal Criteria

• The scholarship is renewable between semesters, provided the recipient continues to meet all eligibility requirements.
• Renewal is not guaranteed and is subject to fund availability.

Use of Funds

• Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition, fees, and/or required course materials at Ozarks Tech.
• Award amounts are dependent upon fund availability.

Refundable

• If a student receives other sources of financial aid, any surplus funds from this scholarship award will be directly refunded to the student.
